As title, did the people who bugged the hardest boss in the game, get banned or roll back?
Nobody has been banned or rolled back for it yet.
Nah, who am I kidding? I don't think it's ever going to happen.
Many guilds did it with a bug, maybe a ban is too much, but a rollback is 100% legit.
They should be banned, but you can expect SE to get around to it sometime in the next year or two.
If they did it after the bug became common knowledge, they should be banned.
For the first ones to do it, they were probably just trying to see if it would work or not. When they confirmed the bug, they should have stopped right there and reported it, but they chose to continue and finish the fight. At the very least, all achievements and gear acquired should be removed, and I'm sure they would be thrilled to only have that happen. A rollback would also be a valid option, although the longer it goes before it happens, the harsher it becomes.
I'm hoping for a ban, since the first ppl that show that it was bugged and still kill it to the ppl that kill it bugging it.
I think that's a bit harsh, considering that would be a one-time thing, and you could argue that seeing if the boss was actually beatable utilizing the bug is another element that needs to be noted in a bug report. If you want to be thorough with a bug, it only makes sense to see it can be completed and what the maximum effects are. Now, if they repeated it a second time, that's another story altogether...
People used a similar bug on Chim and Titan which SE fixed but they didn't get their relics taken away or anything.
3-day ban + roll back
imo.
