Binding Coil of Bahamut Turn 5: Requesting OFFICIAL developer insight.

Before this gets blown out of proportion (which it will), word of it gets spread into gaming sites etc and the pitchforks start coming will a developer please post if there is indeed a bug with TWISTER mechanic of turn 5.

A) It is bugged
B) It is an artificial gate preventing the instance to be winnable without random generated luck.

I think me and many more out there would just like to know are we wasting our time or is indeed the comment "less than 100 players will defeat final boss of turn 5" made all the more real by artificial prowess.

People in general discussion do not care about end game longevity/issues. They only care about afk voting and transfers. This thread won't go anywhere in this forum lol.

Eh, I'm interested. My FC isn't quite to turn 5 yet, but we're on Turn 4. So not very far off.

I'd also like to know if we're going to be spending hours on hours fighting something that simply
cannot be beaten by any means. :(

The best way to do this is to pass this thread along and have everyone you can find bump/up vote + post in general.

A lot of people believe it's actually working as intended, with PURE LUCK and the stars aligning to currently beat it (which nobody has). With the possible answer being an item in the Crystal Tower, which allows you to survive the twisters. Sadly, this would make the current behavior 'working as intended'.

I understand that the bug for twisters is currently under 'accepted bugs', but these are the same mods that said the DD fate was working as intended (even though it was just nerfed today).

This thread will certainly deserve a Popcorn.gif if it gets attention. As someone not on Coil 5, I guess I will just watch the world burn from the sidelines.

That said, as Berezo already mentioned, don't think that it will happen. Still agree that it's worth to at least get some dev confirmation if it's a bug or not, but I doubt that will happen any time soon.

Twister is an instant kill. Think "death" spell. Unless Crystal Tower drops instant KO resistant gear (and it's worth mentioning that there's no gear with status resist at all in game, sadly), that's not the answer.

Also, accepted bugs <> confirmed bugs.

Turn 5 is still bugged by the way (in terms of doing nothing). I made a bug report about it when a friend passed on the information.

This fight has some extremely bad QA.

Official response will probably be similar to the response RE: warriors.
