Have SE actually addressed the lag issues?

I'm not sure if I've heard a response from them. Have they responded?

I can't even find what was the maintenance about. My news feed it's just seriously blank.

The maintenance was for a patch, but this has been going on for longer. My connection is fine for everything else, apart from this. I've had about seven or eight 90000 disconnects today, worse than ever.
