Update broke extra mouse buttons!

Hi,

I use the steelseries World of Warcraft legendary MMO mouse... I bought it as it had the right amount of extra buttons, 2 extra for the thumb, 3 extra on top and 1 extra on the right of the mouse.

Before this update it was working fine... I assigned single key's on the keyboard to each extra mouse button with the steelseries software supplied and pressing them ingame was just like pressing the assigned key on the keyboard!

However, since this update they are no longer recognised in game!

If anyone has a similiar issue of any advice to offer it will be much appreciated!?

mine work just fine. and i have 17. maybe ur mouse just broke? try uninstalling and reinstalling its software. or updating the software. or... shutting off your pc. and turning it back on. sometimes if i let my pc run on sleep. without shuting it down periodically the mouse fucks up and the buttons stop working.

I am having the same issue. Worked fine with my mouse buttons now after this update if I use my WoW mouse I get horrible mouse lag and my buttons don't work. If I plug in a standard mouse no mouse lag. I don't have extra buttons on that mouse though.

Yes, this patch has broken my extra mouse buttons as well. I am currently using the Corsair M95 Mouse and use the Corsair software to configure some of the buttons for keyboard press items.

I use a keyboard shortcut for mount/unmount, using my hotbar keybind of the "`" key, mapped to one of my keys and another button that toggles the built-in keybind of "R" mapped to another key on the mouse.

This is a game issue. This is not a mouse or mouse software issue. I can use the exact same keys within notepad, or any other program on the computer, and they will depress the keys they are mapped to depress. The game is blocking the use of those mouse buttons to use those keyboard functions.

Mouse software already removed, new download of software, re-installed, reconfigured..no change in functionality at all. What gives SE? Why are the buttons not working for gaming mice, or at least some gaming mice?

My mouse has been acting very funky since the patch. The cursor runs incredibly slowly when in the background (and XIV running), opens random menus, etc. What gives?

I'm having the same problem. Using a Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000. It still works just fine with other programs. This is kind of important to my playstyle, please fix this.
