Stat Allocation (Sorry Need another)

Sorry, but I would really appreciate some info on the stat allocation. I know the new battle system is about to come out and all. Just what is the plan on the stats that aren't working properly? I hope this falls into the category of the battle system.:confused:

that post you keep linking is full of bad ideas, like eliminating all rank differences, and giving every class fixed stats. 10 strength should equal two levels of damage? madness.
The actual data used is useful though. Annnd why do you keep saying dont work, looking at what it showed for strength and dex, they actually do work.
anyhow we ll see hwat they do, i dont think its going to be drastically changed this round, maybe next round, but who knows.

; ; I wish they would tell us how/when this issue is going to be addressed. It will suck badly if they redo the whole battle system and stats are still not effective. Even with that threads with all it's formulas, no moderator ever talks about it, or says it's been talked over with and just waiting on a reply.

And if you look at the data for INT and DEX, you can see how wonky the effectiveness of stats are.

You've been around here long enough to know that when we say "stats are broken", we don't mean that "stats do nothing at all". We mean that "the implementation of stats is unintuitive and the gains are not consistent and the benefits of any one particular stat, while stated in-game, are not immediately noticeable by the player through regular gameplay".

Don't try to put your own narrow interpretation of "stats don't work" into our mouths when you know perfectly well what we mean.

you say stats dont work, and people who read these forums think it means they have no effect, you think people know but they really dont. People think they do nothing, people ask if they should even allot points the stats that are the main function of thier class. Trust me when i say, a lot of people think when you say stats are broken, you mean that stats dont do anything, or it isnt worth allotting into anything but vit and mnd. To be honest, i really didnt understand why yall were saying stats were broken until you just told me what you meant.

I will say that even knowing now, what you mean, i have to disagree, stats work, they boost my properties, not as much as a weapon, or direct boosts, but thats logical, most stats effect multiple things. They will probably change how stats work, and i will adapt, but if the stat system stayed the same, i really would be fine with that. (barring mage stats, i know nothing about them)

Intelligence doesn't work correctly at all. Some say just stack spells with Battle Regiment, but I should be able to damage I want on my own and not have rely on it.
