Since the servers came back online I've been unable to log in receiving the error "Unable to update the Group JP character list" each time (I'm on Tonberry).
According to ARRStatus the server is up, so what gives? Is this a server or client issue?
Any advice would be great, thanks
It's JP peak time at the moment for the next few hours as it's late evening in Tokyo. Give it a few more hours and things should start to settle down - congestion is normal after a patch (goddess I remember the nightmare that logging into FFXI after an update was like). You could always keep reloading/logging out then logging back in and trying again though, but it's better to just wait a few hours more. ;)
