2.05 Breakdown/Letdown
Am i the only one who feels dirty and let down by 2.05? Lets go over some facts
1. The info on 2.05 was so vague that actually trying to figure out what was getting buffed and what wasnt was almost impossible.. The whole --> the number of areas where you can acquire Allagan Tomestones of Philosophy and Mythology will be increased as well as the amount you can acquire. I know most saw it as an increase in the amount of Myth you can get per week. Nope still only 300 a week.
And now lets go over some math here. AK 2.0 = 20 mins for 80/40. AK 2.05 = 35+mins for 100/40. <----How was this a bump in the amount you can get????? Also adding the phil / myth to other dungeons .. sounds good right.. nope. Its still better to just
grind your face off in AK because it still gets you the most for reward vrs time spent. Lets talk about Primals. Didnt do Iffy or Titan yet .. will do titan later after i wake up. but we just did Garuda 2.0- 15/7 Garuda 2.05 15/10 .

Gonna go out on a limb here but im guessing titan is gonna be maybe Titan 2.0- 20/10 Titan 2.05 20/15 <-- is what im guessing. Really .. thats all you can give us.. sigh
2.The difficulty for level 50 dungeons will be adjusted. (They also talked about improving things so there’s reasons to kill trash mobs but provided no details yet.) - Taking out all forms of speed runs and giving you about 1,700 gil for 35 min AK <--- gee thanks lol. I know they didnt have to give us anything but wow. sometimes a little is more insulting then nothing.

Myth stones get you the highest ilevel gear in the game currently don't they? On par with Coil stuff. Course they wouldn't let you get more of it.

I don't know, I don't feel the slightest bit offput by any of it. When I did my first runs of Castrum Meridianum and Preatorium I didn't feel at all like I was doing a dungeon until the bosses. Felt more like a tour and I'd lost my program somewhere (can't tell from the players without a program). Now that the mobs all drop gil it should also be more profitable to slow down and have some fun in these things. Seriously, slow down! The game isn't going anywhere!

its a complete let down..
This path was completely useless..
Now takes even longer to get the 300 myths weekly, and the people that made botanist/miner to 50(before this path) get screwed over.
affecting the lvling speed of battle clases doesnt affect the others, but when you mess with the speed on gil related classes, it affects a lot!!!

ITT: OP incorrectly presumes to know what was going to happen in the recent hotfix. Gets mad.

This patch reminds me of one of my favorite movies:
The Good:
Balanced out the miner/botanist leves with fishing
More duty finder servers for end-game content (less queue throttling)
New places for myth tomes - viable Titan grinding (to go with my Titan selling)
The Bad:
People that invested leves into miner/botanist over the past week got a bit screwed.
The Ugly:
The devs have to stop twerking all over AK. For gods sake people, the dungeon sucks. Treat it like a bandaid, just let us rip it off and minimize the pain. It's boring. It's easy. It's an effing grind of titanic proportion. Adding more mobs, making it take longer, and throwing 50 gil or so for each mob we kill IS NOT AN IMPROVEMENT.
