Alchemist's 2 star recipes

Just got my alchemy to 50 and wondering why all our 2 star crafts suck... come on SE

I've pondered the uses of Alchemy and while I'm sure it would be great to have some of those pots in tight moments, say an HM Boss fight when you really needed that extra kick to fend off one of the I-Win attacks but every time I have fended off an I-Win attack I notice the mob just does it again. Of course I can't use another pot for five minutes so all I did was prolong the inevitable by 10 seconds.

and that 50 skill.. yea... about that. Nerf bad casualty.

Yep Alch got the shaft.

So sad...

i really hope when 2.1 hits they fix potions or SOMETHING so we have a source of revenue. right now im forced to make hq shark oil lol

I crafted some of the 2-star potions yesterday just to practice for other classes, seems like some of the easiest (only?) 2-star recipes to do so without tomestone items. Not too friendly to those looking to make a gil or two, though.

the two star weapons are decent if you dont have the relic..

I did the same for some 2-star practice but that's all I've used alchemy for in quite some time.

X-potions and x-ethers cost 3-5k per potion to craft. Even at 100% HQ rate you lose money because nobody buys them. The people who get them for free in dungeon chests are happy to dump them for < 500 a piece and even rich players don't want to spend 6x the amount for marginally better HQ ones.

Hi-elixirs are out of the question. 200k per potion HAHA!

Mega ward potions are cheap but nobody wants them because they share a CD with HP/MP pots. Out of all the lvl70 items I can make there seems to be the lowest demand for the 3 weapons craftable through alchemy as well.



Can't forget that while fleece spawns were increased exponentially pudding flesh was not touched so high level potions are insanely expensive. Alchemy really got the shaft, HARD. At least people want HQ food occasionally. Alch consumables are a joke. I don't even make my own potions any longer. I just buy them off the AH from people selling them at a loss trying to make back some money leveling it for comfort zone.
