State of Game?

Well, free trial is over for those of us that started before or on release & we have all paid our subs (if your still playing!).

Which brings me to my point...

Tech Support & Server issues!

...Tech Support seems pretty much none existant & the server issues seem to be getting worse, during the free trial yup we knew there would be issues & yup..there certainly was! Not gunna go into detail about the servers etc, but now paid subs have kicked in, i would have thought SE would have sorted this out, seems not :/

Lots of us are getting the dreaded 90000 errors among other errors & getting booted from game randomly, major latency issues & so on..

For some of us (including myself) this only started since the last maintenance, i thought the idea of maintenance is to improve things? guess i was wrong ^^

But seriously, gotta ask your self, how many people have already quit due to the server problems, i know of 4 rl friends who came from other mmorpgs to play this but gave up due to the issues.

SE really need to get a clue or people are just gunna get fed up & quit, then soon we will have more headaches with SE trying to server merge due to low pop!

As it is, im gunna keep playing for this month as ive already paid my subs, but if in that time these server problems which should have been fixed before charging subs aint fixed then im gunna move on, i refuse to pay to be a beta tester!

The irony is I suspect a lot of the server stability is simply caused by network congestion - the servers simply cannot handle the sheer volume of traffic (and the issue seems to be worse on the US/EU server group, possibly due to being outsourced and hence SE cannot directly make adjustments to it when things go wrong). In other words, FFXIV is a victim of it's own success.

I have 4 accounts in my house and even being legacy I'm struggling with money to make ends meet. I wanted to sub each of us for the 90 days to show my support. I feel SE , especially with the last maint, is not showing their support for my hard earned dollar. Sure the game is nice looking and there are those wow moments but reliability needs to be the upmost highest priority right now. I am no longer planning on subbing the 90 days for the each of us. WE have our trials running out tomorrow and I need to decide. Even if I do pay to play it might just be the single month renewal for now. Even with that it might just be me. My family is not as understanding as I have been and tend to be more casual anyways. If that all goes down SE will get 10 bucks from me for one more month to see how things go. If they fix stuff then they can look forward to 40 dollars a month from my side. If not then looks like 0 dollars. I hope they fix stuff. No reason to have to wait any longer.
