Feel good heals
I recently healed brayflox as SCH. During one trash pull the group pulled another large pack. The tank was spot on and snagged the adds, then got smashed in the face with damage. It took several tense moments to stabilize healing, but we downed the pack.
Afterwards, the party kind of stood there in shock, like "Oh we're alive??" and I got a couple bows and profuse thanks. I know it's not necessarily standout healing, but do you guys often get that feeling of respect for pulling your team's ass out of the fire?

I usually play SMN but sometimes play SCH too, every time I do play SCH in a dungeon the tank most of the time compliments me on my healing. Yeah that feels good.

Gezz i wish people complemented me when i heal i do a pretty damn good job us healers are the only ones keeping the party.

Yea my friend is a tank, and he's my roommate. We'll coordinate our buff cooldowns and pull large groups of mobs, and chain pull for most of the dungeon and people usually think it's crazy.
Also just did a DF run of Ifrit HM where half the team kept dying, and the other Scholar healer died 3 or so times. Rezzed em all except the Scholar for almost the last half of the fight, was crazy low on mana from rezzing and I kept blowing my Swiftcast by accident. Managed to solo the entire last half of Ifrit healing as a Scholar, some how with people not dodging all the AoEs. I got a applause ^^

I used Cure II once. It was epic. Everyone in party passed all gear to me for remainder of dungeon.

Feels good when someone pulled 7 mobs and you can heal through it :D done it a few in AK fun times

During dhorme chimera I was trying to get a couple of fc member their first time win. Needless to say people couldn't dodge the ice aoe's which puts 2 debuffs on. Slow and ice dot. Damage dealers took a big hit from it so I went to esuna and heal while our scholar stayed on tanks. Next thing I know our scholar is down, people are paralyzed, stuns/silence didn't go off and so one of our main tank went down. Our off tank took lead and I had to do my best to keep everyone alive at that point. What raises I could do would cause people to die afterwards from miss timing a raise. Mostly just bad luck. We end up getting down to the tank, myself and a damage dealer. Running low on mp I went into full conserve and held out till lb3. Threw a quick stone skin on the tank and hit the LB.
Most of the party was in range to be revived and for once an attack didn't go off that didn't wipe everyone during animation. Hit a medica 2 and everyone went back to damage. Our scholar was able to help with the fairy healing and I could relax on mp. We finally took down chimera and one dps who was dead no matter what the whole match was "Sorry guys, I didn't mean for you to all carry me." and another member replied "Hey, Nullie carried us all." "I know there is no way we should have won that." It felt good indeed.
That is the reason I play healer. To hold the group together till the bitter end and I never give up if I see a chance at victory.

Dat Lustrate.
Also Swiftcast Resurrect saves raids.

I get it frequently. I never get thanks for when I rez someone for the third time (as in today in Darkhold final boss), but I do usually get a response from tanks for the healing role I fill. I even got a marriage proposal once. I think it was after I healtanked the last boss in Sunken Temple.

The very first time I ran Ifrit Hard Mode, the Ifrit's Cane decided to drop for us. Of course, I lost the roll because things are never that easy. A good twenty-something runs later, I get queued up with a scholar, 2 warriors, 2 bards, and 2 monks. Everyone plays well and avoids the aoes consistently. The stuns were on point. Upon reaching the nail phase, we wipe due to an unorganized attack strategy for the nails without a caster Limit Break. Surprisingly, no one leaves and we all decide to give it a second try. Smooth as silk up to the nails, but the instant disorganization upon reaching the nails is clear. With our DPS lacking, I decide to put up Cleric Stance and bomb the heaven out of the 9 o'clock and 6 o'clock nails with Holy. Since the Scholar couldn't keep up with Ifrit's damage output and the stunner was off on the other nails, I popped shroud and swiftcast Medica II and prayed to the Twelve that my Holy would carry us to the other side.
Lo and behold, it was a success. I scrap Cleric Stance, Inferno goes off, and we finish up the rest of Ifrit like it were Sastasha. Ifrit's Cane drops and no one else rolls, so I finally get the cane. Some congratulated me, others just left. It was a very rewarding experience, even if it were just Ifrit.
