Moonfire Faire items bugged?

Since the event is ending soon, I decided to buy all 28 equipment items (you never know with Fantasia potion...).

So we all know that all 28 items are Unique/Untradable.

But this is where it gets weird:

- only 20/28 items can be stored in the Armoire in the inn. I guess the other 8 were not properly tagged as Seasonal Items?

- the 8 items that cannot be stored in the Armoire can be discarded, the other 20 cannot, the option is just greyed out.

- by putting an item in a retainer, they allow you to buy another one from the vendor. So far, I have only tested this with one of the 8 items that can be discarded, but what happens if you store a non discardable one on a retainer then buy a new version? Are you forever stuck with multiple items that can't be gotten rid of? Any brave soul willing to experiment?

I think all 28 items should be properly tagged as seasonal and storable in the armoire, and have the discardable tag turned on in case you want to (they already have a good confirmation screen for unique/untradable discard).

For info and for anyone interested, here are the 8 items that cannot be stored in the armor but can be discarded (the other 20 cannot be discarded):
- Summer Morning Halter
- Striped Summer Halter
- Summer Morning Tanga
- Striped Summer Tanga
- Summer Evening Top
- Striped Summer Top
- Summer Evening Trunks
- Stripped Summer Trunks

Yes you get (currently) stuck with it forever. This is a pretty big problem for people that had their AF armor from 1.0, as when they did the new quests (and you pretty much need to do them), it gave everyone an additional set that can't be thrown away.

Also when they allow us to change our retainers gear you may be able to use the gears that are in its inventory, so wouldn't hurt to get both sex's esp if your retainer is opposite sex as you.

That's pretty serious. Has there been any dev post acknowledging this as a problem that will receive a fix? Having items permanently stuck on you with no way to delete them is annoying to say the least.

Good point, thanks for pointing this out.

I wonder if they plan to fix the tags on the 8 other items so they are considered seasonal and can be stored in the armoire.

New event items are always phased into storage containers later so it will most likely happen soon when they will go into the armoire, perhaps after a patch.

If that was the case, wouldn't all 28 moonfire faire items be ineligible for armoire at the time? The fact that only 20/28 can be stored is curious and the undeletable issue is even more serious.
Also, I just checked after our patch 2.05 and everything is still the same.
I think I'm going to repost this in the bug forums.

Ah, that makes some sense, but why would they only tag the seasonal items to be able to go in the armoire after the events? That seems like a strange implementation.
It still does not solve the issue of undeletables though...

I believe they have a system in place that prevents you from firing a retainer when he still has items on him/her. I don't want to mess around with undeletable items, but if a brave soul is willing to experiment on those undeletable duplicates, please share your finds.
