As title says, I am curious about what gm's do. If anyone has first hand experience of being hacked, for example just gil loss, not the blanket gil wipe as of late. Mainly because i would like to just continue playing. But if they rollback to the date the issue happened, well thats just a waste of time and money. But if they restore or send you your losses back then thats much better. Anyone else out there who has actually made it through the whole recovery process know?
In fact, they roll back your inventory.
I canceled my roll back request a month ago (because I wanted to play and didnt want to wait for 1 month to play my char)
I was lvl 35.
So, now I am lvl 50, with full AF. (I should say, I WAS with full AF)
Saturday on login screen, my char was still with his full AF.
When ingame, surprise !!! It was like when I made my roll back request a month ago..... And inventory the same....
no more AF, no more HL item... So, the roll back has been done even If I canceled the request....
AND THE MOST AWFUL is : my lvl is still 50 and all quest are done...... So I can't have my AF with this char If I don't request another Roll back... (maybe another month to wait ....??)
So your answer is : they roll back inventory, not caracter lvl
( for me, another ticket is already in the box with support......................................)
OMG. Cazz that's beyond ridiculous but not surprising given SE's support. :(
Our FC Master was compromised and still doesn't have her account back ... I've been watching for any rollback info. This is lame.
