Not able to get chocobo

Steps:
Went through all storyline quest to get to point where I joined grand company. Even went a little bit further. When I went to get my chocobo I had no quest for it and the license wasn't in the Grand Company vendor. I have tried everything short of lvling another class to 20 and/or switching Grand companies. For some reason I have no way of getting my chocobo. I did play in 1.0 and had my Whm at 50 before the shutdown with my chocobo and everything up to endgame. Please Help me out as this sucks not having a chocobo and having to run everywhere. Thank you

This seems to be a concern that has arisen due to playing in 1.0. You may want to check a Salvager to attempt to claim your Chocobo whistle. Otherwise, you can do a Google search or ask around for the correct method for getting your mount. Since this sounds like an gameplay inquiry rather than a bug report, I will be closing this particular thread. If you're still having problems, please create another bug report thread. Also, please state the steps you have attempted to resolve this issue.
