Relic +1

I see most people getting their relic weapons to +1 before anything else.

This confuses me... I mean, its typically one of the best items you have (assuming you arent full BC gear yet), so why upgrade it before the lower gear... such as replacing DL or AK gear?

As a healer, shouldn't my relic weapon be the very last item I replace?

I saw many ppl's with lv 80 relic , but in AF+2 (+some coil items) . As myself i choosed to do relic+1 1st , it seems this choices depend from player to player.

Well, I found out that +1 weapon damage = +7 main stats, even for healers... so that +3 magic damage is really like +21 mind

So now the question is, where do I go to +1 my relic lol

you need 3 item from the same npc where you bought radhz something for 900 philo, each cost 300 mytho so total 900/3 weeks
then go to "furnace" near gerolt

One thing about +1 relic is that it's the least likely item that anybody is going to replace, as the only possible alternatives come from turn 5 of coil. Maybe not the most efficient use of tomes early on, but in the long run it's still worth it.

TL;DR: the auto-attack damage and stats bonus you get from Relic+1 compared to Relic is much more significant than it seems, since, remember, almost everything you can do scales off your weapon in the end.

There's also replacement logistics to account for, yes. The only way to get an equivalent weapon to Relic+1 is BC Turn 5, which is currently offline and hasn't been beaten yet. It is therefore a very safe investment.

On the other hand, investing in your AF2 chest, gloves, pants, accessories, etc, is a potential risk, because you COULD acquire identical items in BC Turn 1-4.

In other words, spend your Myth tomes on things you can only replace in Turn 5 first, it's the safest investment.

Also, Relic+1 glows.

heres the thing, this is more of a theory crafting thing, the 1 item that best represents output is your weapon, your spells and abilities scale best regarding weapon damage.

weapons are the best upgrade you will get at every point in the game, always choose weapons if the option is there, its also the biggest pain to get as well above any type of item in a mmo for a reason

Personally, I'm a fan of upgrading accessories first. Main reason being, you can use them on other jobs, which can make getting the other relics and expanding what you can offer your FC easier.
