Hey all, I've just recently hit 15 on my weaver and I've started making cotton thread, but I've already exhausted my limited supply of lightning crystals from grinding random mobs. Has anyone found a decent place to farm these?
My highest combat class is an 18 THM, but any level will do. That way I'll be able to tell if I can continue farming/working on weaving or if I should just focus more on leveling my combat classes.

I used to farm these off of puks in La Noscea, but they don't drop that frequently.
These days I think many people just make them through alchemy and so they are quite easy to purchase in the market wards.
Ah ok, I wasn't aware that alchemists could do that. They've been kinda scarce on Mysidia but I'll just keep my eye out. Thanks for the reply.
When you get a little bigger, around R35ish, you could try to hunt for the elementals.
But honestly, i would rank up fishing + alchemy.
Fish can be turned into crystals/shards via alchemy.
