I really miss going out and questing for my next spell or ability/weaponskill. I remember being in XI getting the next scroll and couldnt wait to use it when I hit that level. In this game it's just handed to you, which at first I thought was kinda nice but since this game is very lack luster in the "Things to do" department I was thinking adding sidequests for spells and abilities/weaponskills etc. would be a nice quest for us. It would encourage party play as well. ;)
Absolutely agree with this mate. It would be a fantastic addition to the game. A great way of levelling too.
It'd be cool to have nm drops that give access to rare spells too. Spells that not everyone can get that nuke the crap out of things would be special and give us a reason to explore more
Agreed :D, i wrote about it in some posts as well, i would love to see that happen, at least for the future or some special/new abilites /weaponskills. They could add that together with the new battlesystem/jobsystem. That would be a good chance of doin it imo. A nice way of adding content. And they usually know how to weave nice stories around that.
I like the idea. IMO its much more interesting having quests to unlock actions than they coming exclusive from weapons.
