Petition To Allow Dying of Darklight and Other Non-Dye Gears

Hello Eorzea!

I don't know about anyone else, but I am sure sick of seeing everyone look the exact same come end-game. Seriously, it's out of hand.

It is understandable that the class Artifact Armor should remain restricted, but there's really no reason why Darklight gear, and future end-game gear like it, should not have the ability to be dyed. The system is in the game, it's a shame that it's not fully functional. (There are also a few low-level dungeon pieces that can't be dyed as well that should)

Because everyone is black and white and red all over in Darklight gear and I feel like I'm drowning in Hot Topic when I go to Revenant's Toll.

Please, SE! Expand on the dye system and make the world more colorful!

Thoughts folks? I mean, I don't see why anyone would disagree with them expanding the dye system, if you really want your gear to be black, white, red, ect. then you don't have to dye it.

However, I hate to burst your bubble but they probably can't even keep up with yet another request. Probably doesn't matter how simple it is to implement.

Anyway, hopefully--huh? Damn, I'm jaded with these guys and it's only been a few months. >.<;

I dont see as much of a problem. i see way to many Vanya sets in dyed format. Darksteel as well in dyed format. maybe because i dont care what others wear as long as they are geared.

True, I don't expect this implemented overnight, it'll be a process. I'm hoping at least they could pull it off before 2.1 is released because that will likely add another set of new gear. If anything, Darklight can remain as it is as long as they take dying into consideration for the future progression sets.

Yes! I am huge on aesthetics to the point where I have neglected upgrading certain items simply to stand out :/

Every person doing the same content looks the same, it's very old.

Let us die AF too. Please. It's "our" game.

The sameness will only get worse when they add wardrobes. Everyone will run around in what looks like relic or AF.
