I love the group content in this game!

I don't think I've ever had so much fun in dungeons than I have in FF14. Usually, I am in a rush to hit max level because everything before then is a boring chore, but the content is fantastic all the way through. I also love that there is so much group content that I don't have to constantly grind through the same dungeons over and over again (I understand that this will probably still be reality at endgame, but I'm okay with it).

Part of my enjoyment might come from the fact that I am playing a Warrior and there are lots of different tanking rotations to switch between. I'm curious to see if the content would be equally fun as a healer or DPS.

Not sure about DPS, but I can assure you playing as a healer is very fun and intensive here, you will always be very busy and sometimes there's so many things going on...just don't be the boring ones who just heal, healers here can get into Cleric Stance to DPS, use Holy on special occasions, and even Sleep mob if your group do not have a mage handy.

Pick up some cross-class skills such as Swiftcast and Surecast from THM to make yourself even more useful.

Pressure on healer is quite high in many harder boss fights, as you will need to heal + dispel + raise all the while as you dodge and keep an eye on the boss for the incoming nasty attacks. But this game helps by providing you a good threat meter UI, easy party member targeting (you can even reorganize the order of party member to your liking, example, making tanks always F2, etc), and also good arrow indicator so that you know you are being targeted by boss/monsters.

Just don't be discouraged by all those blamers, and enjoy the challenge :)

Me and a few friends have hit the issue that, there is a limited amount of end-game content, which is completley understanable considering the ground was remade from the ground upwards, leaving little time to focus on expanding content, so for now we're trying to grit our teeth as we smash our heads against the end-game content.

Worst part is we didn't even really rush, perhaps a light trot.

Once I got to end game I realised it was not complete .So I levelled more classes / jobs and crafts .

Avoid FATES where possible unless you actually like them . Dungeons are fun and dynamic one run might have good players, next run utter handicaps .
