Materia Exploit

So i was runnin around waiting for DF, and ran into a group of people spamming Blizzard II, all wearing the exact same gear. After the Spamming stops, one character at a time, transforms a crap ton of gear into materia.

My theory is, because its crafting gear, it's probably just registering the fact they are USING an ability, which is how the crafting gear gets bonded during crafting itself.

I dont know if this is an exploit, or working as is, these guys are obviously using a program to do this automatically, as i get no responce whatsoever, and i know the FC some of them are in are known for using third party programs.

Might try if this "works" or not later. Doesn't seem impossible that it does.

They must be hitting mobs that are spawning in that location. Just spamming Blizzard 2 does not increase spiritbond unless a mob dies and gives XP.

I don't know if its an exploit or not, but I've been doing it for a few days now. Getting a full party all wearing full crafting gear and just killing everything in sight spiritbonds crafting gear really fast.

Well the hitting mobs may be correct, but hes using third party programs to do this. thats the biggest issue i have with this right now. He was completely unresponsive, and the players were on an obvious schedule, Blizzard 2 8 times, Medica, Blizzard 2 8 times, medica, repeat. repeat, erven if theres no mobs or damage they used medica right on the dot each time.

Looks a lot like the group of bots on here just 30 yards from that spot. Similar names and the exact same behaviours.

Bloody bots. Ban them.

There is a fate that spawns a bunch of mobs at that location, as well as a few regular mobs. I can think of a half dozen far better spots to bot spiritbonding, so no clue why they're wasting their time there.

This game is so full of bots, getting out of hand don't ya think SE?

I seriously wonder how many players got their crafts up to 50 the legal way.
