Just curious. I have been playing FF since 1993. My first game was II/IV, and I have been a loyal fan for the most part ever since. Here are some of my favorite franchise moments. What are yours?
II/IV: When Cecil becomes a paladin. When Rydia comes back in the underworld and saves you from Goblez. When fighting Zeromus and all your felled friends come to empower you to fight (needless to say, that track is one of my favorites).
III/V: The opera
VII: When Aeris dies. It's not my favorite part, it's just the first time a videogame made me sniffle a little, and is one of the most memorable parts for me.
Tactics: Getting Cloud

I was curious who liked what because this franchise is really old now, and so many memories exist! FFXIV 1.0, when I streamed myself uninstalling the game after the server shutdown.
No but seriously, Nael's fight in 1.0 was pretty fucking rad, even if I hated the game.
Also, Riding the airship/ferry in FFXI was the best feeling ever.
Squall's death sequence was pretty neato too. -

My favorite Final Fantasy moments:
Final Fantasy XI: Apocalypse Nigh quest. When two amazing story lines Rise of Zilart and Chains of Promathia come together to fully finish both stories!! Was just so amazing and epic!
Final Fantasy X: The ending... when you have to fight your Aeons. It was so soul shattering to me! I'm purely in love with anything that is Summoner from the Final Fantasy-verse and it was such a twist to me... to have to destroy them. I cried way too much in that game >< Especially when Yuna discovers the truth of her religion and the ending with Tidus.
Final Fantasy IX: I love the opening scene a lot it was fun! But mostly I'll always remember and love when Kuja achieved Trance! He said "F@$! you guys I'm going to do it and you're going to like it!" He didn't take crap from no one! He's my favorite villain too btw :3
Final Fantasy XII: When Larsa saves Gabranth b/c that's just way too many feels and I didn't wana lose Gabranth! ; ;
Those are my favorite Final Fantasy moments so far!
