ferry Limsa to Ulda'h water glitch

I found this error while traveling to uldah on the ferry from limsa

in the water right side of ship u see a rendering error where u see black mesh in the water at a certain camera angle. area was foggy at the time.

7:24:20 PST 5/14/2011 Sat

19:20 5/32 in game

-right side of ship
-win 7 64
-1066t phenom 2 hexa core
-gigabyte 890fx ud5
-EVGA 460 geforce fermi chipset

-road runner cable 1.5 Mb/s CAT 5

-seen it once

-Carzilla Dequinto Wutai Midland hyur male weaver 16

Ya i see that glitch as well, happens everytime I use the ferry. Fog, lighting, clear, it doesnt seem to matter.

I see it too sometimes. It seems to change depending on the camera angle, sometimes it'll disappear, but usually it's like in Carzilla's pic.

It is called Z Fighting!

I have the same problem. It's always that one side.

Looks like a rounding or saturation error in the shader code... the game has quite a few visual bugs like that one. Since it's far from critical I doubt it will be addressed any time soon. I didn't see this one yet though. Is it only on nvidia gpus maybe?
