You'd think so - but there isn't.
Which is a real oversight IMO. Farming shards takes far FAR too long - it's no surprise the RMT's have as much gil as they do, crafters depend upon shards, shards are a level 1 item - what is the easiest thing in the game to bot farm: SHARDS
As long as shards are a collosal pain to farm, people are gonna keep buying shards on the market boards and RMT's are gonna get their pockets filled with gil selling the produce of their bot swarms.
