CHOCOBO USEAGE! and how to increase enjoyment!

I have found out that there is really little to nothing to do with your cute chocobo so i have thought up a idea!
The chocobo audatorium its once a month on the first weekend of every month heres what it is
Saturday ever done dog raceing? The chocobos that are kept from the chocobo keepers have put a number on the chocobos in the stables and have decided to make them race! Place your bet 1000-2000 gil on these chocobos and if you win gain the amount you placed on the number the chocobos can be seen raceing in this field around 7-10pm and 7-10am for those of the morning and night! The chocobos need rest so it takes a month to recharge!
There will be no ingame refunds if money is lost. Players attempt this at your own risk.
Sunday! PvP raceing! Race your mounts in epic speeds through timed trials! Earn fancy Vanity gear for your chocobo for beating such timed trials 7-12pm 7-12am
These events can only be joined after you have completed the grand company quest for your own chocobo

Im really surprised that they didnt go back to the roots of ff7 and start raising chocobo's and breeding chocobo's for racing... Everyone wants gil but doesn't know what to do with it... A good old chocobo race would be a good place to drop some coins and possibly win some coins... If you want to take the time and raise/train your chocobo you could have an elite bird worth racing... They used to have them so that they have a cooldown before they could race again... Personally I would see it as another market and perhaps a fun thing to watch and wager on...

In one of the articles on housing, it talks about Chocobo Breeding.

I'm betting we'll see racing at Golden Saucer.
