ingame voice chat

how about adding ingame voice chat program. would be nice.

As long as ps3 can use it idm.

They have already said there are too many technical difficulties getting it to work between PC and PS3 that they can't do it yet.

I guess it's nice for those who play console. Personally I prefer skype, vent or the like

WoW has this. Nobody uses it.

like shikaree said no one really use the system in wow and top of that they said no due to problem with ps3 and pc and harassment issue.

I think this is needed because if they don't add it people on PC will use extrernal software and people on PS3 will not be able to use that. Having a voice chat system in game that works for both platforms would be excellent.

ya but they said it would take to much work to make it work and it cost way to much they have to ask sony for a lot of help which should not be a problem seeing how sony own a % of SE so i don't see why they can't do it but at the end i guess is due to harassment and the reason that japan,EU,DU,NA play together so most players wont understand each other when talking at least that what they said.

Admitedly, it made a bad first impression since is messed up in-game sound for a week or three.

Harassment issue is probably 3x more important. You can filter text, you can't filter voice. For documenting purposes, you can log text, you can't log voice.

Not to mention internationally it's near worthless, even before we add the slang/accent problem. Auto-translate functions are also problems too.

And add to more, if one pedo case comes up, SE is totally screwed.

Leave voice chats to the niche 3rd party like skype, vent, etc.
