Petition: SE Please create a New Legacy World before Tranfers begin.

I don't know if this is possible in the short amount of time but please create a New Legacy World that current Legacy players can transfer to (they are pretty much all full) and that Legacy players friends and family can also transfer to from Non-Legacy Worlds.

This would also free up space on the current Legacy Worlds as well allowing more transfers.

Please seriously consider this. (Unless I am alone in this line of thinking.)

Should just allow anyone to go anywhere at this point. The economy is so fucked up by gil sellers, as well quite a few new players that have earned a substantial amount of gil legitimately; plus with there being very few crafted gear options after 50 to bother with {most of which being earned through tomes/boss drops}, what economy is there left to bother with preserving at this point!?

2.1 looks to be adding even more dungeon/tome rewards that won't be through the marketplace to, it boggles me why this restriction matters anymore...

TBH having some maxed out crafters roll to new servers would mess up the economies of new servers. SE was wise in it's decision to block Legacy->Non transfers. As much as this one would like to join its friends on Gilgamesh.

Well, as a Gilgamesh resident, I can confirm there already being quite a few maxed out crafters. A few more won't make a difference to effect the economy any worse than the rampant gil sellers who control much of the market.

I agree with OP.
I started checking over a week ago. 4 or 5 of the 5 NA/EU Legacy worlds have been in the top 10 every night from ~6pm to midnight during both prime times.

On these forums and others, I see lots of posts about people wanting to transfer from new worlds onto Legacy worlds. The main reason is that they have friends on Legacy worlds who are not allowed to transfer off. Sometimes the post sounds like they would prefer that the legacy world character transfer to a new world, but SE is standing firm in its refusal. The result is that the very full Legacy worlds can only get more full, and there are many people and groups who are planning to transferring to them.

As for my situation, our small group will be moving 4 new world characters (3 new player accounts) to a legacy world. Plus my existing legacy character will be moving to that legacy world, too. The reason is that we have located another group of friends we played FFXI with.

Wise? not really, if you ask me, poorly thought out.

I am not sure if you played FFXI but when that was released to the EU/NA players 2 years AFTER it was being played in Japan.
Players joined any and all servers, thrown in at the deep end where JP players had already amassed a wealth of gil and were geared to the teeth.
All the EU/NA players got on with it and there were no problems with the so called 'messing up of economies' back then.
It worked out just fine. So to be honest, your argument is quite invalid here.

I think all worlds should be opened up for transfer to all worlds. Restricting Legacy players to legacy worlds is exactly that...... a restriction because here I am again stuck in Ridill and cannot go anywhere because the NA Legacy worlds are full.
