Can someone please explain how post limit, character limit, etc work / increase?

So I'm using up one of my, what, 5? posts for the day to ask this question... with my 1000 character limit.

When does this increase?

Sorry that I'm asking here since I couldn't find the answer in the other board sections...

What does the gold medal above my avatar mean? Why can someone with lower post count and 4 silver? medals post a book length post?: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...red.-The-facts.

It doesn't, but you can post and then edit it past 1000.

Guess this will be my only discussion for today. How does the daily post limit get increased? Reaching 100 posts or something?

Here. You can see everything forum rule on it. As for the medal its just show how much post you've been posting, Gold medal meaning more than 50 post from what it look like.
