I have ran Ifrit now close to 80 times successfully (Running it roughly 20 times a day) and have yet to see the blade drop. My question is, is it really worth it? Right now I am using an iLvl 55 sword which is doing fine so far.
Should I just move on to my phase or is the Ifrit blade a necessity?

It's completely RNG you're just having terribel luck mate. Dropped 2nd time for me last night on FC run to get PLD relic.
If you are in an active fc that can do titan then there really isnt much need as you can storm through straight to curtana (assuming you have DL gear tanking titan as pld is stand there and get hit).
Is the weapon from WP any better? -

If you really want to farm a primal weapon, farm garuda. Its a much better sword and the fight is shorter. Also, many farm groups only take one tank, so you'll be solo need rolling.
Probably better off just pushing for relic. GC weapon is enough for titan. And that fight becomes more accessible every day (more and more people have more and more gear with more and more experience). -

yea id say grab it from garuda. even tho ifrit is an easier fight mechanic wise. Garudas blade is much btr. tho yes the primal wpns r quite useless once u get your relic. lol i dont know wat 2 do with mine now since they dont let u put em in the inn chest their just taking up space.
