LF Titan

Title says it... Trying to get my relic weapon and most groups seems to require it to do it... I've seen the video and I'm good at moving out of stupid crap, so look for me if you need a bard. Want to get my relic already. Thanks

Last time a thread like this was posted, a bunch of people posted in the thread offering to help.

Sometimes the hardest part of doing this fight is finding seven other people who know how to dodge and are willing to put in as many tries as it takes. Feel free to ask me ingame if you need help with Titan. I've beaten this fight as SMN, WHM, and BRD. My SMN and WHM have the best gear.

They have Ifrit's Bow, and a combination of AK/DL gear, they are more than well enough "geared" for Titan.

Haven't had a lot of time to play since posting this, but I have got some experience in with it. I've fought him down to 30% a couple nights ago, just need to find a group where everyone can dodge and get this thing knocked out.

I've been busy this weekend as well, but I should be on tomorrow evening. It's silly/sad that you can't add people to your friends' list unless you're online. :(

Also, I agree that Ifrit's bow/AK/DL is more than enough. As long as you have enough HP to survive crazy AoE stomps, it's fine. I beat this fight as BRD with 3 DL, mostly AK gear, and Garuda's bow... and the rest of my group wasn't well-geared either. We didn't even need the LB on the heart despite many people being SURE we would need to.

For 'lesser-geared' groups, I would suggest the 1x tank 5x dps 2x healer setup. It leaves enough room for mistakes. One dps or two dps could die post-heart and it won't be an issue. If you survived until 30%, I believe you're pretty decent at dodging since that's already a few rotations into phase 5.

if you're still looking for help, send me a tell after 8pm EST, my group dropped him twice last night to get LS members their relics... we ALL know how to dodge, have great DPS at heart, and very good healers after heart... we enjoy helping when we can, but we don't like to "carry" people, so be on point ^^

and to add, you don't need to be in FULL DL for titan... we had a tank who had AK gear and 1 piece of AF2 gear ( head piece ) and garuda weap... we kept him topped off and it was all good..
