Guild invite blocks
I love guilds and when the server transfers open up on the 15th ill be joining my friends and joining their guild. with that being said, is their a way to temporarily block invites? the reason I ask is there are a few guilds that keep spam inviting me every 20 min or so and:
1. I don't know whom is doing it, it never says who the player is ever.
2. its really annoying esp if your trying to take screen shots, or when you are in a cut scene its really really annoying to see it there.
3. if you were to just leave it there its excessively long to just go away, the time limit should be shortened greatly.
I know ill have a guild on / after the 15th but it just seems silly to not list the players name so you can tell him you don't want to join or if he persists to black list them.

There is currently no way to block these invites.
But I noticed on the legacy servers this wasn't an issue, but on the fresh servers I was constantly bombarded.

Just join one for now if its that bad. You can not block invites as far as I am aware.

that is some good advice for a quick fix Akira, however it wont solve the problem for other folks. while it isn't as bad as the gil spam, atleast with gil spam you know who it is and can black list them.

I find it horribly rude to just send out random invites, and I can't imagine the FC's doing that can be taken seriously. Join a bunch of rude idiots? No thank you!
About 3 weeks ago, I had the same person inviting over and over again. I noticed who it was, so I told him to please stop it, and he instantly wanted to start a fight, spamming me with even more invites, until I eventually blocked him. This could have been avoided, if we could only block it.
Oh, and while writing this, I can see I got an invite from an FC I already rejected, and I have no idea who the spamming monkey is. I'm just standing at a river fishing, but I can't even do that in peace and quiet...
Please Square Enix, make the game a better place to spend our time, and make it possible to block those pesty FC invites! It's a small update with a huge effect for us!

I had this problem too got like 10 invites per play session from the same FC. My solution for this was to make my own FC and not register it.
I now have notices say free company signatures 0/3 don't know which is more annoying getting spammed or looking at that but i just don't wan't to give the spammers the pleasure of spamming me.
