2.1 adding 'Average Item Level' Requirements for dungeons / Primals...

My Average Item Level (AIL) is currently 64.1rep6.

I have equipped:
Ifrit spear
Peltast Hem
Heiratos Mail
Heiratos Gloves
Peltast Belt
Heiratos Greeves
Heiratos Boots
Darklight Choker
Darklight Earrings
Darklight Bracelet
Darklight Rings x 2

I wonder what the AIL will be for the Extremes, the Hard Mode Dungeons, and The Crystal Tower (and Coil).

Uh, okay. Yes, I'm sure many of us wonder that too.

Depends really, hopefully SE will use the entry requirements on the bare minimum to effectively complete the instance. Meaning you could get into CM, Praetorium, and WP (maybe Ifrit and Chimera too) with questing gear and maybe full AF.

Next tier would be AK and definitely Ifrit and Chimera.

Then Garuda and Hydra.

Then Titan (also CT from what I've read).

Then BCoB and the new primal extreme instances.

Of course this is purely logical assumption since SE could take this any number of different ways.

Probably something like

Ifrit - 45
Wander's Palace 45
Keep - 50
Garuda - 55
Titan - 60
Crystal Tower - 70
Extreme Primal - 80

I think -no, I'm pretty sure- that the IL required by the DF will be way, way lower than what people is asking now.

Yea if you use WoW dungeon finder as an example they usually let you attempt stuff with like gear 20 item levels lower then what the zone drops, which is a lot lower then what players would ask for if making their own group. In MMOs they let you try with some lower level gear then what people want, but it keeps out that guy wearing like horribly bad low level leveling gear.

Just to point out, I'm thinking the item level calculation isn't going to be a straight average. Won't be surprised if some slots are weighted more than other slots for your final iLevel score.

I hope they won't count each slot equally.

Example:
"iLevel 70 weapon + iLevel 30 ring" should not equal to "iLevel 30 weapon + iLevel 70 ring"

This is probably close to reality considering the adjustments in difficulty to the Hard Mode Primals. I'm quite sure elitists will be more than a bit disappointed that 1) their gear discrimination will have been proven unjustifiable and 2) their absurd talking points about players in Artifact gear and level 20+accessories will have been erased.

It's mentioned in an interview that they are considering that Crystal Tower will require a relic.
