End Game Farming Zone
First off let me say I love raiding and My Fc is through turn 4/loving the game. Now I know a lot of people are against bringing ideas from FFXI into FFXIV but I think bringing something similar to Sky/Sea would benefit this game. Hear me out.
The idea:
-A zone dedicated to end game progression that is an open space just like say Coerthas/Mhor Dhona/etc.
-Alliance based or small group party play to farm monsters that would drop "pop items" for larger boss battles that could be triggered by trading said items to a designated location.
-Bosses can drop end game gear that it is BoP. However, the items that spawn these bosses may be sold to other players and/or traded.
-Farmable monsters may be tagged by all players at any point in time. However, bosses that are spawned via pop items are claimed to an alliance/party that triggers the spawn.
Why is a zone like this important? It will give open progression available at ANY time, no lockouts, no waiting. I am not saying lets replace raiding, lets just also create DIVERSITY in our end game so we can have multiple activities to do.

Never played FFXI, but I saw something like this in The Secret World and I enjoyed it a lot.

Why does something like this not inspire support? It was literally the best thing going for final fantasy 11 and provided end game whenever you wanted. Really shocked more people don't want/support this kind of thing. Open world end game zone with alliances/party play? Non-instanced? MMOrpg do you need it? Can I have it?
