So how much DPS do you guys do on the dummies?

Just wondering, for everyone using a parser, with the gear you how much DPS are you guys doing? What's the ballpark people should aim for?

It's over 9000!

@Dire That's too low. You must be doing something wrong with DoTs and Buffs refresh.

@Ekko It is not possible to have a variation of 70 dps. You need to run 5 minute test on a dummy to have a stable DPS parse.

Bard rotation isn't exactly a rocket science, especially while standing still; I really doubt I am messing it up constantly, on every parse. Still, if you have dummy parses that are significantly better than 200 -+ (over a period of 5 min or more) I'd like to see them please.

I would have to run them again but before with Toxotes Chest/Legs/Ring / rest in DL / Relic +1 :
- DPS for 5 minute = 235 dps with a +-5 dps variation (bloodletter procs)

That's cool, whenever you have a chance. I would like to see the skill breakdown from those so that I may find what is causing the difference; I will do another, then, and compare. Thanks in advance.

Oh. Just noticed you said you have Toxotes pieces. You likely have around 30+ more crit than I do in my full DL; that would easily explain the difference.

I think the only major difference is DoT clipping. If you refresh a DoT before the end with a stronger buff, it is very likely the parser will use the non-buffed version of your dot in the parse.
Also I wait for Hawk's Eye + Barrage before using Blood for Blood.
If a buff is about to refresh within a few seconds, I would wait before refreshing DoTs

It's just without / with buffs on an easy rotation.
