In at attempt to get more people chatting outside of their linkshell and socialising across the game, I have setup the following Steam group for people to join:

If you didn't know you are able to add FFXIV to Steam by adding ffxivgame.exe, this will allow you to use the shift+tab Steam overlay, and chat from ingame.
The group is public, so feel free to join!
