When using the Fantasia potion, does the re-configuration of your character start from the beginning like making a new character, or does it start with your current settings and let you change them? In other words, if someone wants to make just a single change in one feature, do they have to try and reproduce all their other settings from scratch in an attempt to match what they already have?
You can load a character design you have saved if you wish. Pre-make what you want and just load t.
You can also load your character, then select subcommands (on the PS3 it's the square button when you have the name selected) and then edit your character.
But can you save a character design of an already existing character? I've only seen that save design option in the character creation screen, which you don't get to with existing characters.

What you need to do then is use the subcommand and edit your character.
when using the fantasia, and opening the Character edit menu, your character will load as is, allowing you to make tiny tweaks and changes such as a scar or hair color
