my fellow adventurers...

So first thread I've been able to create and I want it to be nice.

I don't know about the rest of you but I'm getting sick of the negativity on the forums and general FF/SE/each other bashing lately.

The aim of this thread is to come together as a community and celebrate each other and the world we share (Ezorea).
So if you have had a nice Duty Finder experience, met some nice adventurers or anything nice about the game you want to share go for it.
Post pics of your winning dungeon teams or your character.
Tell us your nice experiences of FFXIV so far.

Yeah I know this has sunk down the forums and died but I'm gonna try and bring this back - given how the first few pages of the forum are now just repeats of the same moaning (e.g. "oh the communties toxic so my response is the fight hostility with hostility", "oh this sucks because" or "im quiting and spitting my dummy out" themed threads) I think we need a nice topic more then ever.

So my nice experiences in FFXIV:

- Random Healers: cant tell you how many times some kinda random souls has stopped what their doing and hung back to heal Milmoko (me) during Levequests and even cast some buffs, saved me from KO many times: THANK YOU!
- Duty Finder: I've been lucky enough to matched with good groups who have accepted my newbie'ness and explained how the dungeons work, we've had fun and laughed even when getting wiped

I'm pretty low in terms of the storyline and dungeon so I haven't been exposed to elitists or extreme gear requirements. But the DF dungeons I have been running have had great people in them. Some we wiped in, others first try and success! I have been super fortunate with that. I have also been in DF parties on my server and would see a player just pop out and redo the dungeon to make a full party for us. When I accidentally steal someone's mob, I always apologize, /bow and vice versa. All I can say is thank you to every player who has helped someone out, and thank you to DF players who are patient and understandable with some of the new players. It's the helpful people that keep everyone wanting to play and who knows you might even make great friends that way! :)

I just really wish there was some sort of cross-server friends list/party invite type of thing. I've come across some great people from other servers in DF, but the chance you'll ever meet them again in a dungeon are slim to none.

I've done my fair share of speed runs by now, but in the end, doing the lower level dungeons, or even the higher level ones, with mostly people who haven't done it before has been a lot more fun. Sure, it'll take longer, and I won't get my darklight as quick, but whatever.

I hope this isn't somehow negative.

I enjoy watching Lalafels who speak in third person about themselves boil in a stew alive. Then once they are on the brink of death... I eat them.

This makes for a great experience for me! What about you guys? :D

I think i cross server option would be fantastic. Maybe a box or something we can check to make it server only or game wide.

This kinda topic already exists as the super general discussion thread. Either way I just spend most of my time helping others in both DF and in shouts/tells.

Based on what I hear other say about he DF make me seem like I'm either extremly lucky, or everyone else is just exagerating a bit, cause everyoen I've teamed up with have been extremly nice and helpfull
