Lack of minor patchs

Why SE is waiting so long to add minor patchs? is really needed to add all the content in a full 2.1?

Is so hard to separate somethings like Chat improvements, Macros, new commands, etc in some minor patchs than give us a huge patch at late november?

That was pretty much what they did on XI. Maybe they will change how they do it here but expect it to show up every few months instead of once a month.
