You could not log in because the service account in question is not registered.

The title explains the issue we are having with a physical copy of Final Fantasy XIV Realm Reborn I've bought for my girlfriend.

She registered her code on the website, and yet, the launcher nor the website wants her to log in properly, it keeps displaying the error below :

Also, when logging in the Mog Station, no service account is shown, this is very wrong, she told me to have run the same proceedings as me and when I've tried to register her code on her account, it keeps saying that it has already been registered !

Someone has already experienced this kind of issue ? I would be glad to have some help please, we got no response from the support : (

I think, either you registered the code to the wrong account, OR, Square Enix lost your registration and decided to pocket the money you paid them. Since SE has not been shy about flouting its complete and utter ineptitude as well as indifference to customers, it's probably the latter.

Try the registered to wrong account form I guess.

I don't know, hence my second proposition :P Which, I might add, is entirely likely given SE's recent track record.

I've seen some other people with this issue and everytime that I see it they have put in the incorrect code... I have heard that the d's look like 0's and you need to verify you have the correct code... Once you put in the correct code it should give you a confirmation code and show you and active..

The code is correct, otherwise the error would be different than "The code has already been registered".

We have checked more than once especially for that d's or 0's confusion : x

what CODE did was use

the one on the the red and black card (a SE members code) is NOT the game game key
and
the other code is then one needed

The code used in the Mog Station, is the one with 20 characters. (5 X 4)
