Macro /item?

As the title says, I am looking for the macro command to use an item.

No I do not want to put the item on my hotbar.

Yes I already looked at several "macro" lists.

No, I do not believe they intentionally left it out.

Does anyone know how to do it?

I looked for this a few weeks ago and I couldn't find anything so I don't think there is one. :/

How unfortunate.

I feel this should really be added at some point in the near future.
