New job incorporation

I've been thinking about this a lot lately and I'm wondering how people think incorporating new jobs should work. They say that they plan on adding jobs that already mix with current classes but if they do that will you automatically have the new job at level 50 with just class quests to do? This seems a little silly to me. The only way I can see new jobs being added would be completely new classes to level with them. Thoughts on the subject?

Well they way I see it, is to split up how classes work, like with Arcanist splitting into a DD and Healer.
They could do this while keeping in line with traditional FF Jobs, Maybe Lancer could split into "Holy Dragoon" as a Tank
Or pug into idk "Puppetmaster" that could tank, Idk just shooting ideas lol
They could even change how actions work, just like Sch/Smn does

The problem with only switching soul crystals is the bonus attribute points. For example a lvl 50 Scholar can't switch to a summoner just like that. All your allocated attributes are in mind while summoner needs intelligence. If they're going to implement new jobs and not classes, they also need to let you have separate attribute points for each job/soul crystal if the jobs work differently.

Cloud... hahaha maybe the could make a class much like cloud switching swords for particular move and what not... i think that'd be pretty awesome heheh
