I went for my Darklight belt, hands and accs. But I'm stuck between going for legs or body next.
Still on AF body, head, legs and feet since AK hates me for drops.
Which would you go for first? Body or legs?

I chose whatever gave the biggest upgrade over my current gear. When an accessory and a piece of armor gave comparable upgrade stats, I went with armor as it also provides a bit of defense. Ideally, you'll have a full set soon enough, so I would just prioritize what slot would benefit you the most at the moment.
Belt is almost always the first DL part people should get, because it makes the biggest difference for what they're likely to have (everyone hits level 50 with a full set of AF1 gear but their belt will probably be some pink level 40 dungeon drop, and you can easily buy cheap level 49 white accessories whilst you gear up).
Generally I'd recommend getting the darklight legs over the body though. Your body will be higher item level as the AF1 chest is higher than the rest of the set. Grind out 1325 tomes, and then if you have any parts of Hoplite in leg/chest/head/boots, get the -other- part of Darklight. If you have no Hoplite in those slots, buy the legs, as they'll be a better upgrade.
I went with belt and accessories first, as AF gear is decent and my accessories and belt were not very good. I am now saving up for my Darklight legs. I know a lot of people do CM for tombstones, but I have been almost exclusively doing AK since it gives mythology as well. So, now I don't have to worry about choosing between Darklight legs or chest because I will have enough mythology tombstones to get my AF2 chest and head at the same time as I purchase my Darklight legs. ;) But I don't get to play for hours every day so I guess it works for me since I don't have much time to do a bunch of runs beyond mythology cap anyway.
Buying Darklight is kinda situational. Usually it's best to go belt -> jewels -> body -> arms -> legs, but you could find yourself needing the body/legs before the jewels. I saved bracelet and necklace for last as I already had hoplite necklace and HQ amber bracelet. It's mainly a matter of what piece gives the biggest boost compared to your current gear. Unrelated to DL, but I decided to go AF2 body first and then get +1 in the next 3 weeks as I can keep threat on +1 DPS with regular Bravura. Allagan body drops on turn 1 Coil, but i'd rather have more acc from the AF2 chest incase Allagan doesn't drop.
I replaced my ring/earring first since they were pretty awful. I ran a lot of Wanderer's to make money so I had everything from there, then got everything from AK. Started with the expensive pieces first since I knew I'd be getting everything. Grabbed AF2 gauntlets along the way, then +1 shield. Ideally you'll want to go for your biggest upgrades, but odds are you'll get it all so ultimately the order won't matter.
Rather than buy Darklight chest and legs, consider buying 9 coke for each and having the HQ darksteel chest and legs crafted. They cost less tomes, 1125 as oppose to 1325, and have the potential for more stats due to being able to meld materia into them. You can also dye them different colors if you get sick of black.
I think best thing to do is belt, head/body, legs/feet, then accessories. You can get the mythology tome hands while you get the other stuff so you dont even need the DL ones.
I did belt > hands > legs > accs > body since that is what gave me the best upgrades. Also bought the Mythology ring to replace the second lvl 49 ring.
I went belt > jewels > hands > legs. I'm about to get my Valor Coronet so the body is of no use to me. Then it's AF2 body, hands, feet and legs by the end of the year. Already have both Curtana +1 and Holy Shield +1.
I suppose I'll be doing Coil regularly eventually, but during the week I farm AK and CM for my other classes and in the week-end, I level other classes (almost done with ACN then it's my DoLs). And I'm content with what I'm doing right now. If I do start doing Coil regularly I'll be focusing on Allagan accessories, otherwise I'll buy them after I complete my Valor set.
