If you go from Standard to Entry and you have multiple characters

Do you get to choose what character you want to still use?

Well I did, and I can't choose. I came here to look for an answer because the only thing I could find is to delete the first character I created (which is not my main).
But I have 3 other alts there, anyone knows if once I delete the char i can delete I will be able to choose which one to play or not?

I registered for Entry automatic renewal, but mistakenly have 2 characters on the same server. The system did not withdraw the fee from my card, so my account is now inactive, which means I can't delete my uneeded character. If I try to switch to Standard I get error 401 even for different card. Already lost 4 euros because of this. Sent two tickets to the "Support" centre, but in my experience it usually takes a month to get a decent reply.

I think that the Square-Enix payment/account system is plain garbage, and I am on the verge of canceling my service account because of that. What to do now?

Well this is easy because you have only 2 char.
Start game and on character selection screen right click on the unwanted character name and select DELETE.

Done.
