Lancer vs Dragoon

Is there any possibility--any inkling of one--that Lancer could outDPS Dragoon, on fights where you can't safely use Jumps on-cooldown?

By being a Dragoon, here's what you gain and lose:

Gains: 20 STR; access to Jump skills; Access to Relic Weapon
Loses: Raging Strikes; ARC ability that boosts damage by 20% for 20s; CD 120s.
Straight Shot: +10% crit.

The question I'm posiing is: If there's an encounter where a Dragoon is unable to use their Jumps right when they come off cooldown; could a Lancer outDPS a Dragoon?

Lancer also can't use relic or relic+1.

This question just needs to fucking die. So many uninformed noobs these days.

It wasnt a terrible question, just one that has been answered a hundred times already. technically if gear gets to the point where 20 str isnt a huge deal, and skill speed gets to the point where jumps become less and less efficient (as they dont seem to speed up with it) then i could see lancers outdpsing dragoons. that being said, lancer still brings more utility than a dragoon, worth it to go lancer in really any situation at 50 atm? no.

Certain classes can do it but Dragoon is not one of them.

It is a valid question, but people get a bit annoyed as it has been asked a lot. Currently, there is not a single fight in the game that I cannot safely use Jumps. There are always gaps if you learn the fights, and they can become easy to spot.
