gametime for many expires tomorrow is it really worth subbing?

I really cant decide to sub or not, my friends in game want me to sub but is it worth subbing just for the social aspect? I'm kind of sick of grinding the same stuff over and over ak and castrum mostly running out of gil and don't want to gather, maybe final fantasy xiv isn't for me if i don't like grind but i love final fantasy games and i enjoy most mmorpgs grrr what to do??????

do i stick it out till 2.1 or come back at a later date anyone having this dilemma?

I would say come back at 2.1 and save yourself a bit of money. The end game in this game atm sucks and coil is the only thing worth running the rest is a tome grind fest that SE inserted due to lack of content.

I understand your troubles, but the real question remains..

Is 15 bucks a month a big thing for you or not?

If yes, I kind of suggest you wait tbh.\
If not, ask the other questions yourself again.. we can't decide for you

I'm having the same problem.
I've been pretty bored honestly...I do wanna jump on and play whenever but I won't get my money's worth
since I am barely playing these days, just like 30mins to an hour. :/
Then I think about how I'm almost and get to see end-game which people say is really bad...then I think about the horrible FATE grinds I have to do to get to
BRD and SCH, but I really wanna be those two jobs. FATE grinding is killing me to stay. D: I'm stuck in Limbo lol.

You're telling me people who have already subbed somehow have less insight than those who may tomorrow? :rolleyes:

Easy solution: Like the game? Support it with a sub. Don't like it? Move on to something you enjoy. Simple decision.

ye im thinking the same tbh, i keep thinking to myself is it really worth it, am i having fun? and tbh I'm not really having that much fun i mean castrum :S ak was fun at first but i been capping on that and it gets boring real quick...
ye i guess the fact im here tryign to be convinced says it all really, ill wait till 2.1

The only person who can decide whether it's worth subbing or not is you. I'm getting tired of all these threads asking if it's worth it or not. Ask YOURSELF that question, and act accordingly.

If you're having fun, subscribe. If you're not, then don't. It's as simple as that.

I think I'll wait for 2.1 or at least for the free server transfers (do we have to be subscribed to transfer?). I havent been able to play with any friends (error 90000, wrong server & lag mostly) and I've finished the main story so there isn't much interesting things to do now.

is for people who havent subbed yet and are undecided , dont get butthurt jeez there is plenty of other threads you can post in, i know what forums are like and people liek you would be itching to say "already subbed" well it doesnt help this topic , which you can tell because your now causing the topic to deviate....

So you're indecisive and you're only allowing other indecisive people to tell you whether or not it's worth subscribing? Sounds like you deeply just want to quit but want those who have not/will not sub tell you why they think it's not worth subbing so you can feel better about your choice.

My suggestion is to just do what you feel is right, don't let others influence your choice since it's unlikely you'll be happy with it in the long run.
