Anyone have a guide on which level item converts to which grade of materia? would a lvl 49 item convert to grade 3 and lvl 50 convert to grade 4 materia? have been looking all over google and cannot find anyone who talks about this.

It's based on ilvl. 1-29 Grade I, 30-44 Grade II, 45-54 Grade III, 55+ Grade III with a small chance for Grade IV.
