PlayStation 3 severe lag at times? (EU)

Hello everyone!

So, I'm having a blast with the game, but not every time. The reason for that is: at least on the Moogle (EU) server, and playing exclusively from a PS3 fat launch model (modified with 19 blade fan and 500GB), I get lag spikes in almost every battle, even if it's a 1vs1 PvE at a secluded area.

This is manageable in FATE's etc, but in dungeons and Primals, it can break the game. For example, I might miss a stunning chance against Amandine, so she hits me with her AoE and the party is without a tank until Terror wears off. You can understand where I'm going with this. Endgame content would be impossible, if I can ever reach it under these circumstances.

I'm asking a simple thing; is Square Enix aware of this? Is there a workaround? My connection is 8+MBPS DL, ~0.9 UL, so it's definitely not my fault, plus I've seen others report it.
