tech forum, not general is where this belongs
perhaps bugs
-
Yeah i just posted in tech too, but i thought more people would see in general and might be able to help me out, thanks :)
-
Ah ok, yeah
that issue could be one of so many things its really hard to say
for all we know you may have some spyware thats causing it to happen(ive seen something similar before due to that) and it may not be a specific problem with FFXIV but a problem with other stuff

Moved thread to proper forum.

Obei refer to you first post in tech support; I just gave a detailed answer for you. It is only a guess, but more than likely right.

k just few things
0x00000101 is problem that has to do with either heat related or overclocking in most cases
1. Have you been overclocking CPU, Memory, or Graphics card?
2. Make sure inside Case, Fans etc are free from dust and make sure there are the right amount of case fans to dissipate heat from the case.
3. Make sure Heat sink is seated properly on the CPU with Compound.
4. Run Memtest86+ to diagnose memory
5. Prime95 has a feature called "Torture Test" that allows maximum stress testing on the CPU and RAM. There are several options allowing the stress test to focus on the memory, processor, or a balance of both. This will detect an error within a matter of minutes. if an overclock is not stable, however many people like to let the system "burn-in" overnight to ensure long-term stability.
