Will ps3 version play on ps4?

Hello I was hoping to get some type of official response
if FFXIV:AR PS3 version will play on PS4.

I know the PS4 version will come out next year, so I do not mean the PS4 version.

No, as far as i know ps4 is not backwards compatible. If youve got ps3 version upgrade to ps4 is free anyhow.

No, Sony has announced that the PS4 will not have PS3 compatibility, so there is no way the PS3 edition could run on the PS4. However, all PS3 players are entitled to the PS4 version for free.
