SMN should be a pet focused class, with more skills revolving around the pet, all im doing now is letting my pet auto-attack, throw in 3 skills to boost their dmg or whatnot. Not very pet interactive. I propose a change, to the gameplay to be more focused around pet swapping during fights, sort of like how FFXI did it but without desummoning every cast.
How about, we have a job ability that lets us instant cast a different EGI every minute at no mp cost. We see something we need a lot of AOE dmg we bring out a different EGI with aoe skills. We need single target dps ok, summon a different EGI. We need off tanking some adds, ok boom summon titan to tank adds for a bit.

Please, just stop with the "this is not summoner QQ". There is already 5 or so threads with the same topic or relevant topic. And we do have the skill already as a cross-class skill, its called Swiftcast.

Summons are fine the way they are. Yes they lack a bit of depth and interactivity however they do present valuable options to you. You don't just use one for all encounters.
