FFXIV APP - Ideas

Hi Guys/Girls,

These are just some thoughts I had since we have already heard of how far they're looking at expanding on the FFXIV App in the future, where they eventually want you to be able to log in and do minor things from your smartphone/device.

Please post your ideas below, because realistically with how advanced tech/apps are there really is few limitations.
I'll be editing OP with genius ideas and credit to the person first posting them :D

My Ideas

Odin/Behemoth Server Based Push Notifications:
Basically the way this would work is while logged into your account on the app, the app will recognize what characters you have on what servers and bring up a Push Notification on your phone when either Odin or Behemoth spawn on your server.
Obviously a lot more people would attend each spawn which the servers already struggle with, but once the Odin/Behemoth server issues are fixed this seems viable.

FC Management:
Getting to activate actions is all I can really see this being able to do at the moment.
If they make the in game FC management more flexible and user friendly then there could be so many more management capabilities. Things like players requesting membership and officers being able to accept members etc.

Linkshell/FC Chat:
Just being able to chat to your linkshells/FC from your app would be impressive since they plan on eventually letting you log into the game eventually.

Gathering Node Push Notifications:
Level 50 gathering nodes that appear at certain times from Eorzea Time, could have them just show up on your phone/tablet while you're playing or even up to 5 minutes before they spawn.

Obviously push notifications would be easily turned on and off.
I'd have mine on 24/7 but I appreciate some people don't care if Odin spawns at 3:30am local time haha
