Lack of depth in High-End Character Customization.

Character Customization starts pretty good and keeps good just till level 50.

But what will happen in 1 or 2 months more? everyone will be using the very same armor with the very same colors and the very same weapons. (leave alone the very same build)

This needs to be adressed, we need a more depth character customization for end-game equipment.

-All high end armors including AF ones should be Dyable.
-Skin customization must be added (you can change skins of determined armors, for example to have DL armor stats into an AF armor skin).
-Customization for Relic Weapons and crafted weapons. Going from color patterns (just like in armors), Fine details like feathers, bandages, banners. To glow colors.

Another ideas that may come up into the thread.

I believe that some gear should not by dyeable. But for the stuff that is they really need to add a Main/sub colour for the dye system, too often have I attempted to dye gear to find I've only died like a 1/4 of the the inside cloth and I'm still wearing a white shirt.

If it's possible within "Memory limitations" I'd love to see the abillity to customize the colour of our crafted gear some more, there is of course a case of going too far... Ultima Online I'm looking at you and your neon colours!

that's where vanity slots come into play.

high end armors are like school uniform. everybody wear the same type and same color.

Since theres 2 high end armor sets, allagan and AF2, people will probably have mixed and match sets depending on the drops they were able to get in coil.

Nope, people have shown in other games that they can't match simple colours.


The Black Mage AF and Stardust rod are designed to work together, if you could run around with a green hat, neon blue coat, pink legs and a white Stardust rod the distinct look and feel of the gear and the world around it is lost.

Artifact Gear and Relics are visually distinct and carefully designed items, I really feel they should remain that way.
